Closing Time

The Signing

Once your loan is clear to close, we’ll schedule your closing with our go-to attorney—who, by the way, is consistently ranked as the #1 real estate attorney in the Triangle. The appointment usually takes about 30 minutes, and we’ll be right there with you at the closing table to celebrate and make sure everything goes smoothly.

The final amount due will typically be available about 48 hours before closing. Those funds must be wired directly to the attorney’s office, and we’ll walk you through the details.

Important: We will never ask for your bank information or provide wiring instructions.

All wiring instructions will come directly from the attorney’s office via a secure portal. Always call the attorney’s office to personally verify the instructions before sending any wire.

This is a proactive measure to protect you from wire fraud—which, unfortunately, is a very real risk in today’s market.

After signing, the attorney will finalize everything and record the transaction with the county. A few hours later, once it’s officially on record, you’ll get your keys—and the home will legally be yours.

Congratulations!

Your loan is funded, the deal is done, and your new chapter begins. We’ll follow up to make sure everything is buttoned up—and just know we’re still here for you long after the closing for anything you need.
