Closing Day

Once closing day arrives, most of the heavy lifting is behind you. The buyer will complete their final walkthrough to confirm the home is in the same condition and that everything is in working order. You’ll want to keep utilities on until the day after closing to ensure a smooth handoff—buyers will have their arrangements in place by then. Please leave all house keys, garage remotes, and anything else the new owner will need right on the kitchen counter. As the seller, you’ll sign your closing documents in advance—there’s no need to attend the closing itself. Once your signed and notarized documents are delivered to the closing attorney, you’re good to go. If anything unexpected pops up in the final stretch, we’ll be right there to handle it so you don’t have to stress.
Selling your home doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With the right plan, the right prep, and the right people in your corner, you can walk away feeling confident you got it done right.
